Richard Merling became our first full time Director of Youth and Children's Ministries in August of 2002.  Richard grew up in the Detroit area and has been involved in full time ministry for the past fifteen years. He graduated from Saginaw Valley State University with a BA in education and a M.Ed in Educational Leadership. He and his wife, Cathy, have two children, Sarah and Nathan.
